Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo is not a great dry shampoo, especially if you have dry hair.
When I first applied this dry shampoo, it seemed thin and pigment-less, but as soon as it dried, it completely changed texture and color.
The product turned very thick and textured and had a very bright white cast pigmentation.
When I tried to blend the product into my hair, it left white pigment on all my roots and in my scalp. Nothing I could do was taking away the pigmentation in my hair.
This product also left my hair feeling extremely dry. It did give a good amount of texture and absorbed all the oil but it took it too far and left my hair looking and feeling dry and damaged.
Because of the super dry product, my hair stayed oil free all day. Unfortunately, it gave me the opposite problem from oil which looked just as bad.
Overall, Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo left my hair feeling lackluster and I really didn’t like it.

Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo looks extremely pigmented when it’s first applied to the hair.
It feels very thick and dry and textured for a dry shampoo, from the get go I really didn’t like the way it felt.
Application/Ease of Use
Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo is fairly easy to apply but the product comes out very light and clear looking at first, and once it dries, it looks and feels completely different.
I ended up applying too much in my hair because of the fact that the product changes as it dries.
This product is so pigmented that it makes it really hard to use. The product doesn’t blend into the hair the way you want it to and the white pigment just clings to every hair and scalp.
